On August 30, 2021 our Loving Mom "Vivian", "Vivi" and "Chito" to most, left this earth to join our family members who left before her including her mother and father, Vivian and Joe V. Castellanos, her niece Elizabeth "Little Lizzy" Alexander, and brother-in-law, Dalton Alexander in heaven. She is survived by her kindergarten love of 52 years, David G. Trevino, and her only surviving sister Gloria C. Alexander; children Norma Castellanos and husband Javier V. Juarez, Paula Castellanos and husband Cesar Pulido, Emma Yvette and husband Mario Rodriguez, David Trevino; Grandchildren, Athena V. Coronado, Chloe C. Hinojosa, Jacob Paul Hinojosa, Mario, Nicholas, Isabella and Olivia Rodriguez, DJ and Jessie Rae. She was born in Houston, Texas and as a young lady she worked for KLVL Radio Station- which was owned by Felix and Angela Morales, worked for various banks and retired from Bank One as a Loan Officer, then part time at Morales Funeral Home as a front desk receptionist. Lastly, she worked from home doing alterations for many Houston Fire Stations and ambulance services, Purple Box Theater, several local attorneys and a greater part of Southeast Houston. She will be missed tremendously by her family for she was our Rock and Glue- always keeping us in line. Mom was a very selfless woman whom always put her children and family first. Her cooking will be missed not only by family, but by many, especially her potato salad, cakes and cupcakes. She literally could fix anything with superglue or a needle and thread, FOR REAL!!!! Mom also loved the casino; so now she can play the slots in heaven. We will all miss her dearly but none more than her Livey, her Lovebug, whom kept her going like none of the rest of us with her "No Play Me". We are blessed that we had her on this earth, and she that was able to see and know all of her grandchildren. The family will receive visitors at the chapel of Felix H. Morales Funeral Home on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Rosary will be cited at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send plants. For the safety of all guests, gatherings at our facility will be limited to 80 family members and guests. Individuals at increased risk, sick or not feeling well should not attend the service.
