Virginia Martinez Arocha, age 71 of Houston entered into eternal rest on June 1, 2022. She was born on October 14, 1950 to Jacinto Martinez and Josephine Cano in Houston, TX. She enjoyed Astros & Texans games, cookouts with music & laughter. Cheering on her grandson Jacob at his football games. Teaching little Marci her colors, afternoons with her husband on the front porch. Doing silly videos with her granddaughters Jennelle & Jenna. Whoever met her loved her from the get go. She was mom to many of Jenn's friends. A loving mother to her son, Danny and daughters Cynthia, Esme and Jenn. An amazing mother-in-law to her sons-in-law, Freddie, Matt and Jose and a devoted wife of 51 years to her "Babe" Ignaus. Virginia is preceded in death by her Mother, Josephine Cano, Father, Jacinto Martinez, Brother, Robert Martinez, Brother, Ruben Martinez, Brother, John Joe Guerrero, Sister, Mary Helen Martinez, Mother-in-law, Marsela Vargas, Father-in-law, Ignacio Arocha, Sr.. She is survived by her beloved family which includes her Husband, Ignaus Arocha whom she married in 1971; Son, Danny Martinez & Partner Flora; Three Daughters, Cynthia Perez & Husband Freddie, Esmie Martinez & Partner Ernesto, Jennifer Scott & Husband Matthew; Son-in-law, Jose Argueta, Jr.; Three Sisters, Lupe Rosas & Husband, Minnie Ortero & Husband, Ida Martinez & Husband; Brother, Rick Martinez & Wife; 13 grandchildren including her youngest, Jennelle, Jacob, Jenna, Little Marci; 20 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, June 13, 2022, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, 10:00 am at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home. Rite of Committal will follow at Houston National Cemetery.
