Maria Guadalupe Regalado, age 75 of Houston, Texas entered into eternal rest on October 23, 2021. She was born on December 31, 1945 to proud parents, Sadot Saavedra(†) and Maria Lopez (†) in Tarimoro, Guanajuato, Mexico, making her the first born of 11 children. Maria, known to her family as "Lupe" loved her job of being a full time mom and grandmother, whose favorite hobby was crocheting. Definitely the strongest woman known to her family, she instilled her strong faith in each one of her ten children. Lupe was a devoted Catholic who enjoyed praying the rosary and gave catechism classes on the weekends to the children in the neighborhood, while teaching her own kids the powerful word of God. Her remedy for healing all body pain was "the Crucita", blessing the area of pain with the sign of the cross at all times. She enjoyed being outdoors, whistling, listening to music and had to have her spice in her food, Sweet bread and coffee were a must and let us not forget her favorite drink, Su Cokita! Lupe adored the love of her life, her husband Raul Regalado (†) of 42 years, who passed on December 11,2004. Both were extremely proud of the big family they created together. Their children were definitely their pride and joy! They would spend most of their time outside cleaning the yard while listening to music, at times even dancing. They were always surrounded by their loving family. Lupe is survived by the family she dearly loved; her ten children, 7 girls and 3 boys. Amalia Ramirez, Guadalupe Regalado, Natividad Reyes, Raul Regalado Jr., Ruben Regalado, Rose Marie Avilez, Christobal Regalado, Veronica Regalado, Maribel Regalado-Miranda and Maria Isabel Granados. As well as 29 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Estela Saavedra-Cisneros; Brothers, Miguel, Arturo and Ramiro Saavedra and numerous Nephews and Nieces. Maria Guadalupe is preceded in death by her loving parents, Sadot Saavedra and Maria Saavedra-Lopez; Her Husband, Raul Regalado; Brothers, Manuel, Raul, Jose Pedro and Ruben Saavedra; Sisters, Esther Maria Saavedra-Cabrera and Eva Saavedra-Hernandez. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 5 from 4-8 pm, with a rosary at 6pm; Funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, November 6 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church with burial following at Brookside Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Masks are required for these services. For the safety of all guests, gatherings at our facility will be limited to 80 family members and guests. Definitivamente la mujer más fuerte conocida por su familia, ella inculcó su fuerte fe en cada uno de sus diez hijos. Lupe era una católica devota que disfrutaba rezando el rosario y daba clases de catecismo los fines de semana a los niños del vecindario, mientras enseñaba a sus propios hijos la poderosa palabra de Dios. Su remedio para curar todos los dolores corporales fue "la Crucita", bendiciendo la zona dolorida con la señal de la cruz en todo momento. Disfrutaba estar al aire libre, silbar, escuchar música y tenía que tener su especie en su comida. El pan dulce y el café eran imprescindibles y no olvidemos su bebida favorita, ¡Su Cokita! Lupe adoraba al amor de su vida, su esposo de hace 42 años, Raul Regalado (†), quien falleció el 11 de diciembre de 2004. Ambos estaban extremadamente orgullosos de la gran familia que crearon juntos. ¡Sus hijos eran definitivamente su orgullo y alegría! Pasaban la mayor parte del tiempo afuera limpiando el patio mientras escuchaban música, a veces incluso bailaban. Siempre estuvieron rodeados de su amada familia. A Lupe le sobrevive la familia que amaba mucho; sus diez hijos, 7 niñas y 3 niños. María Guadalupe es precedida en la muerte por sus amorosos padres, Sadot Saavedra y María Saavedra-Lopez; Su esposo, Raul Regalado; sus Hermanos Manuel, Raul, Jose Pedro y Ruben Saavedra; Hermanas, Esther Maria Saavedra-Cabrera y Eva Saavedra-Hernandez. El velorio está programado para el viernes 5 de noviembre de 4 a 8 pm, con un rosario a las 6 pm; La misa fúnebre está programada para el sábado 6 de noviembre en la Iglesia Católica St. Gregory the Great y el sepelio en el cementerio Brookside en Houston, Texas.
