    Juanita Lucio Castaneda

    May 17, 1950 - February 3, 2022

    Juanita Castaneda passed peacefully Thursday, February 3, 2022. She was born in Houston, TX on May 17, 1950. Juanita was a devoted Catholic whose pride and joy was her family. She was very social and loved to talk to and meet new people. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Juanita is preceded in death by Mother, Isabel R. Lucio, Father, Vincent Lucio, Husband, Victor Castaneda, Sister, Ramona Perfecta Lucio Martinez, Sister, Mary Lou Lopez, Brother, Guadalupe Lucio, Brother, Vincent Lucio, Jr. and Sister, Mary Molano. She is survived by; Son, Victor M. Castaneda, Jr.; Daughter, Maricella Castaneda; Brother, John Lucio; Granddaughter, Elizabeth Elizondo; Grandson-in-law, Francisco Elizondo and Great-grandson, Abraham Adrian Elizondo. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, 10:30 am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
