Joe loved to go to Galveston to watch ships come in and look at the waves. He loved sunsets, stars, the moon, birds and flowers. He would call me outside to look at the moon. He loved going to Crockett, riding old country roads with my brother and my son and brother-in-law. He loved life. He loved to go to Santa Rosa to visit his family. We would go into Mexico, he loved buying things there. He always wanted to get all our grandchildren together, never could. He loved seeing all of our grandchildren. He loved going to see our daughter Jessica and her children. He loved to go to Katy to see our sister Rena and Beau, her dog. He would take her flowers and Beau a ball or Joe played ball with Beau. Joe and I did not attend church but we both believed in God. and prayed to him. Joe and I would go for a drive, he was always looking for cows. We went cow hunting. Joe loved everyone, he especially loved children. He never understood why people just couldn't get along. I will miss him dearly. I love him so much. We had so many wonderful years together. 29 years. He loved to dance and so did I. He loved his home and family. He had everything he needed and was very thoughtful and considerate, willing to help in anyway if he could. I know he is in a better place, no more suffering from the dreadful disease he had, now he can rest in peace. I know you don't question God, but you wonder why.
