Javier Arenas, age 65 of Houston entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2022. He was born on October 20, 1956 to Octavio Arenas and Juanita Betancourt in General Terán. Nuevo León. Javier was love by many and will be greatly missed. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather (PoPo). we will miss his laughter and humor. He enjoyed his time barbequing, listening to music, dancing, spending time with his family and friends. He will Forever be in our hearts, but never forgotten! Javier is preceded in death by Father, Octavio Arenas, Mother, Juanita Betancourt, Brother, Hilberto Arenas, Sister, Rosie Arenas. He is survived by Wife, Delia Arenas; Seven Children, Marisela Cantu, Marina Battishell, Crissy Hinojosa, Carla L. Arenas, Jason Cantu, Jaime Cantu, Carlos J. Arenas; Brother, Alfredo (Kiki) Arenas; Five Sisters, Norma Aleman, Alicia Lozano, Laura Lazano, Juanita Lozano, Eliziar Lozano; and Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and extended Family. Visitation will be held Friday, March 18, 2022, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, 11:30 am at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. El velorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 18 de marzo de 2022, de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas, con un rosario que comenzará a las 6:00 p. m.
