Esther H. Gomez, age 52 of Houston entered into eternal rest on July 31, 2022. She was born on September 12, 1969 to Eduardo and Espanzia Hernandez in Houston, TX. Our mom was a spontaneous firecracker. She was kind and very loving. She left a great impression on everyone she came across. Her smile would brighten up a whole room. She liked to call you out on your B.S., she didn't care if it was in public or who was around. With her everyone was not just a friend you were her family. She was the one who you could turn to when you just needed someone to vent to. She put everyone before herself. Her eleven grandkids were her entire world; she loved spoiling them and giving them all the attention they wanted. This God fearing, loving, caring, strong, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend will be greatly missed. This world will not be the same without her. We love you mommy! Esther is preceded in death by her Father, Eduardo Hernandez and Mother, Espanzia Hernandez. She is survived by her beloved family which includes, Five Daughters, Ericka Hernandez, Isabel Pettes, Antonia Rodriguez, Cesslie Bautista, Aurora Medina; Son, Isidor Gomez, III; Three Sisters, Emily Cortes, Esperanza Hernandez, Elizabeth Hernandez; Three Brothers, Edward Hernandez, Jr., Eugene Hernandez, Manuel Guerrero; Five Granddaughters, Emy Rodriguez, Lisiana Gomez, Jalyah Pettes, Adalynn Pettes, Nylah Ford Slack; Six Grandsons, Julian Trejo, Eddie Boy Gomez, Malachi Ford Slack, Alexander Rodriguez, Noah Rodriguez, Amir Gomez. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 10:00 am at Felix H. Sus once nietos eran su mundo entero; le encantaba mimarlos y darles toda la atención que querían. Echaremos mucho de menos a esta madre, hermana, abuela y amiga, temerosa de Dios, amorosa, cariñosa, fuerte. Este mundo no será lo mismo sin ella. ¡Te amamos mami! El velorio se llevará a cabo el martes 9 de agosto de 2022, de 3:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en la Funeraria Felix H. Morales, Houston, Texas.
