Emma Cantu Carrion entered into rest on December 1st, 2021 She was born February 20,1956 to Sista Gonzales Cantu and Jose Baldizan Cantu in Lubbock, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father Jose Baldizan Cantu and mother Sista Gonzales Cantu. Emma is survived by her husband Rene Carrion, daughter Jennifer Lebeck and husband Ronnie, son Bobby Joe Ochoa (BJ) and step- daughters Irene Carrion,Krystal Vasquez and spouse Artemio, step-sons Kristopher Carrion and spouse Ruby, Daniel Carrion, Julius Carrion and spouse Ady along with 13 Grandchildren. Sisters Norma Lopez, Sylvia Corley, Angie Brown, and brother Johnny Cantu.and numerous nieces and nephews. Emma and her husband Rene loved traveling together especially to casinos. She was a fantastic cook who loved having company over to enjoy not only the food, but all the laughter and jokes that came along with it. She enjoyed life and cherished every moment. She would always say "Life is too short to hold grudges". Emma was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who took time to embrace her family and give them the love and guidance, so they to could build strong foundations in their lives. She gave her family love, laughter and memories. She will be dearly missed by all those who's lives she touched. Emma's wish was to be remembered as she lived and to memorialize her in that way.
