Elida Rangel Morales, 84 years of age from Houston, TX, passed away on July 4th, 2022. Elida has reunited with the love of her life, Felix Trevino Morales. Elida was an entrepreneur and embraced new adventures. Between her and her husband, they had several businesses serving the North Side of Houston. Elida was co-owner of Trevino and Son's Funeral Home for 50+ years with her husband. She also owned and operated Deanna's Flower Shop and La Papita Café, both located in North Houston on Fulton St. near Trevino and Son's Funeral Home. There is a saying, "Behind every great man is a great woman". This holds true for Elida and Felix. Before owning her businesses, she was a laborer for 25 years. Elida loved her family, doing the best she could and embraced being very family oriented. She loved her children and adored her grandchildren. She was a very strong woman with a big heart for family. Elida eventually retired to focus on her family and raising her grandchildren. Elida had 4 children, three sons and one daughter. Her marriage with her loving husband lasted 56 years. Elida is proceeded in death by her husband Felix Trevino Morales, her sons, Felix Morales Jr., Steven R. Morales, and Larry R. Morales, her grandson, Felix Roland Morales, and her parents Maime Rangel and Eloy O. Rangel. She is survived by her daughter Deanna Morales and Billy, granddaughters Stephanie Morales, Chloe Ramirez, Ava Ramirez, Sasha Morales, and Kaitlyn Morales, and grandson, Steven Ashton Morales, and great granddaughters, Sophia Barba, and Valerie Barba. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 10, 2022, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at South Park Cemetery.
