Claudia Morales Cabrera, age 25 of Cleveland entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2022. She was born on May 17, 1996. Claudia is preceded in death by Grandmother, Gregoria Avilez Cruz and Grandfather, Meliton Cabrera. She is survived by her loving family which includes Mother, Celia Cabrera Avilez, Step-Father, Carlos Cardona, and Sister, Brenda Cabrera. Claudia had a strong character. She could seem unapproachable or mean, but she carried a light within her that was hard to ignore. Her smile alone was contagious. Claudia loved to dance. Not a day would go by without her doing some movement. Sing-alongs during car rides were a must. She was no stranger to Disney marathons or daily ghost shows. Her love for animals was immense. Our dog Loki was the primary recipient of that love. Her want for adventure was constantly growing, and balancing it with responsibility was difficult. Her ultimate dream was to become a doctor and help everyone in need. There were plans of traveling and eating as much food as possible in those places. Her time on this earth may have been cut short, but that does not take away from the fact that she was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. Our world is now a little emptier without her presence, but the memories that remain will keep her with us. Visitation will be held Monday, February 7, 2022, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas. An Evening Service will begin at 6:00 pm. Per Claudia's wishes all black ensembles are not needed. Color should be part of her celebration of life. Cremation will take place at a later date. Individuals at increased risk, sick or not feeling well should not attend the service. A Claudia le precedieron en la muerte su abuela, Gregoria Avilez Cruz y su abuelo, Meliton Cabrera. Le sobrevive su amada familia que incluye a su madre, Celia Cabrera Avilez, su padrastro, Carlos Cardona y su hermana, Brenda Cabrera. Claudia tenía un carácter fuerte. Podía parecer inaccesible o mala, pero llevaba una luz en su interior que era difícil de ignorar. Su sonrisa por sí sola era contagiosa. A Claudia le encantaba bailar. No pasaría un día sin que hiciera algún movimiento. Los cantos durante los viajes en automóvil eran imprescindibles. No era ajena a los maratones de Disney ni a los espectáculos diarios de fantasmas. Su amor por los animales era inmenso. Nuestro perro Loki fue el principal destinatario de ese amor. Su deseo de aventura crecía constantemente y era difícil equilibrarlo con la responsabilidad. Su último sueño era convertirse en médico y ayudar a todos los necesitados. Había planes de viajar y comer toda la comida posible en esos lugares. Su tiempo en esta tierra puede haber sido acortado, pero eso no quita el hecho de que ella era una amada hija, hermana y amiga. Nuestro mundo ahora está un poco más vacío sin su presencia, pero los recuerdos que quedan la mantendrán con nosotros. El velorio se llevará a cabo el lunes 7 de febrero de 2022, de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas. Un servicio vespertino comenzará a las 6:00 pm. Según los deseos de Claudia, no se necesita vestir de color negro. El color debe ser parte de su celebración de vida. La cremación tendrá lugar en una fecha posterior.
